How we work
Six stages from first conversation to a maintained app in the store. Each stage ends with something you can read, try or install.
Discovery call
A conversation about what the app is for, who uses it and what already exists. We ask about devices, deadlines and constraints before suggesting anything.
Scope and estimate
A written statement of work: features, platforms, milestones, who does what, and the price and schedule for that scope.
Design and prototype
User flows and a clickable prototype you can try on your own phone before development starts.
Build in short cycles
Two-week development cycles, each ending with an installable build and a written update on progress and open questions.
Test and release
Device testing, store listings, privacy declarations and a staged rollout through testing tracks to production.
Maintain and improve
Updates for new OS versions, SDK changes and store policies, plus the next features once real usage shows what matters.
What you can expect from us
- A written statement of work before development starts
- Access to builds and the repository from day one
- A written update at the end of every cycle
- Estimates that list their assumptions
- Your accounts, your data, your code
Common questions
How much does an app cost and how long does it take?
Timelines and pricing are quoted per project after a discovery call, because they depend on platforms, features and integrations. The written statement of work states both before any work begins.
Who owns the code and the store listing?
Under our Terms of Business, bespoke code and designs belong to you once the project is paid for, and store listings, repositories and cloud accounts are set up in your organisation’s name.
Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes. We are happy to sign one before the discovery call if you would like to share confidential details.
Can we see progress during development?
Yes. You receive an installable build and a written update at the end of every two-week cycle, and access to the repository from the start.
Have an app in mind?
Tell us what it should do. We will reply by email with questions and next steps.
