iOS app development

Native apps for iPhone and iPad written in Swift, designed to follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and to reach App Review with the usual questions already answered.

How the work is done

We build interfaces in SwiftUI where it fits and use UIKit where a screen needs finer control. Data flows through a small set of observable models, networking sits behind protocols, and concurrency uses async/await so heavy work stays off the main thread.

Before the first TestFlight build we review privacy manifests, permission prompts and in-app purchase flows. These are the areas where App Review most often asks for changes, so we deal with them early rather than at submission.

What’s included

  • SwiftUI and UIKit interfaces
  • Swift Concurrency and a structured networking layer
  • SwiftData or Core Data persistence
  • VisionKit and AVFoundation for camera and document capture
  • StoreKit 2 subscriptions and purchases
  • Privacy manifest and App Tracking Transparency review
  • XCTest unit and UI tests

  • Handover notes on signing, certificates and build steps

How we measure quality

These are the measures we track and report on. Target values are agreed for each project rather than promised in advance.

  • Launch time and hang rate
  • Memory use on the oldest supported device
  • VoiceOver accessibility audit results

Common questions

Do you still work with Objective-C?

Yes. Many established apps contain Objective-C modules. We maintain them, bridge them to Swift and replace them gradually where that lowers risk.

Whose Apple Developer account is the app published from?

We recommend publishing from your organisation’s own account, with our team added as members. The listing, reviews and revenue stay with you.
